Banana Dahi Vada

Ingredients:
o Curd 750 gms.
o Green banana (vegetable kela) 5. 
o Ginger, green chilies 5 & 10 gms.                   
o Kadipatta 20 leaves.
o Urad dal 2 table spoons.
o Sarsom, zeera 1/2 table spoon.                  
o Salt, little bit of hing.
o Oil for frying vada.

Method: Peel out the skin on bananas and cook them in cooker till the banana becomes very soft.  Add enough salt to cooked bananas and smash along with ginger, green chiies pieces.
Prepare curd for soaking banana vada.  Fry urad dal, sarsom, zeera and very little hing  add kadipatta.
Prepare vada with the banana paste and fry them in deep fry.  Dip the vada immediately in to plain water and take out and put into already prepared curd. Allow them to soak for at least one hour. Before serving garnish them with green dhania leaves.
The item is very economical, easy to prepare and also nutritive, easily digestible.
