Query:   mere husband ke sir ke baal udd rahe hain kya koi aisa gharelu tarika hai jo bal na jhade or naye baal aa jaye. pls mujhe answer jaror dena.
Reply:    The cause of hair loss is important. Hair loss can occur due to oily scalp, dandruff, nutritional deficiencies, stress, etc. In men, hair loss can also be due to hormonal factors. You can check with a doctor regarding the cause of hair loss. Apply herbal hair tonic on the scalp daily, using cotton wool and leave on. Avoid massage. Part the hair in sections and apply on the scalp. Apply oil once a week the night before shampoo. If you like, you can apply pure coconut oil. Avoid head massage. If there is hair loss, the roots are already weak and massage may aggravate the problem. Using the finger tips actually move the scalp in small circular movements. Avoid vigorous rubbing or massage of the head. Diet is very important. Have a small bowl of sprouts daily and include fresh fruits, salads, leafy green vegetables, curd, in your diet. Ask your doctor to prescribe Vitamin B-Complex and Vitamin C.

Query:   I am 25 years old.I am going to marry in september 20th. my skin colour is dark black pls tell me some cream or home product for remove this darkness & pls tell me what is turmeric.
Reply:    First of all, turmeric is “haldi.” Use a facial scrub twice a week. You can either buy a facial scrub, or you can mix rice powder with curd and use as a facial scrub. Apply on the face and rub gently on the skin using small circular movements. Leave on for 5 minutes and then wash off with water. Mix one teaspoon each of honey and lemon juice and apply daily on the face, at any time. Wash off after 20 minutes. Two or three times a week, take cucumber and ripe papaya pulp. Add curd and lemon juice to it. Apply on the face and wash it off after half an hour. You can also add oats or ground almonds to this mixture. Dry and powdered orange and lemon peels can also be added. Pearl facial is given in our salons to remove tan.

Query:   i have broad black lips they are rough to touch .how can i make them soft & pink.
Reply:    The skin of the lips is very thin and delicate. However, after washing the face, when the lips are wet, you can rub them gently with a soft towel. This helps to remove dead skin. Then apply cream of milk (malai) and leave on for an hour. Apply pure almond oil daily on the lips at night and leave on overnight. Change your brand of lipstick, because the perfume in certain lipsticks can cause darkness as a reaction to sun-exposure (photosensitivity). Darker colours make the lips look less broad. So do glossy lipsticks. Matte lipsticks would be better.

Reply:    You can mix a little rose water with sandalwood paste and apply daily on the hands. Wash it off after 15 minutes. You can also boil neem leaves in water over a low fire. Cool and strain. Make a paste of the neem leaves and apply daily on the areas with pimples or spots.

Query:   i have darkcicles on my face . Suggest a home remedy for it so that it will be cured permanently
Reply:    The term “dark circles” is used for dark patches under the eyes. For the area around eyes, daily apply pure almond oil sparingly (very little quantity) and massage it lightly, using only the ring finger, for one minute under each eye. Massage in one direction only. Leave on for 15 minutes and wipe off gently with moist cotton wool. However, if you have dark patches on the rest of the face, apply a sunscreen with high SPF before going out in the sun. Mix rice powder with curd and use as a facial scrub once or twice a week. Apply only on the dark patches on faceand rub gently on the skin with tiny circular movements. Leave on for a few minutes and then wash off with water. Mix honey and lemon juice in equal quantities and apply daily only on the dark patches. Wash it off after 15 minutes with plain water. Twice a week, apply face mask. Mix 3 teaspoons oatmeal with one teaspoon each of honey, curd and lemon juice, or egg white. Apply on the entire face, avoiding the lips and area around eyes. Wash it off after half an hour.

Query:   mam! tell me a effective home remedy for excessive body hair on shoulder , hands etc.. & general tips to be taken to cure it permenantly?
Reply:    The best option for removal of hair on the body is waxing. It is best to have it done at a beauty salon. Home remedies do not remove facial or body hair. They are said to lessen hair growth if used regularly over a period of time. Apply a paste of turmeric powder and milk and rub this on the skin with a circular motion. It is said to discourage hair, but it may leave a slight yellowish colour on the skin.

Query:   my upper-lip area is comparitively darker than my rest of the face which is fair.help!
Reply:    The area above upper lips may seem darker due to facial hair. However, you can take a little curd, add a pinch of turmeric and apply daily on the area. Wash it off after 20 minutes.

Query:   i have dry and sensitive skin.some areas are very rough.i have a lot of blackheads on my nose.what should i do?
Reply:    Blackheads actually occur on oily areas of the skin. For dryness, use a mild glycerin soap to wash the face. Tone with rose water. Mix honey with a little milk and apply on these dry areas daily. Wash it off after 20 minutes. In the morning after washing the face, make a paste of baking soda (bicarbonate of soda) and water. Apply the paste only on the areas with blackheads daily and wash it off after 5 minutes. Use a facial scrub three times a week on the blackhead prone areas. You can either buy a facial scrub or you can mix rice powder with rose water and use as a facial scrub. Apply only on the areas with blackheads and rub gently on the skin using small circular movements. Leave on for 5 minutes and then wash off with water.

Reply:    You can use a cleansing gel containing aloe vera on the dry areas. If you wish to use soap, a mild glycerin soap will help. Then wipe the face with rose water. Apply a moisturizing lotion only on the dry areas. Apply a sunscreen lotion before going out in the sun. You can apply pure almond oil daily only on the dry areas and wipe if off with moist cotton wool after 10 minutes.

Query:   Madam, I m haveing black spots all over my body can u tell me wht can i do to get ride of all tht & can get my skin plan & soft. I realy dont understand wht to do..
Reply:    Apply sesame seed (til) oil daily before bath and massage it on the skin. Or, you can apply a pre-bath cream containing lemon and turmeric. You can make a body scrub by mixing “besan” (gram flour), rice powder, curd and very little turmeric. This can be applied on the body two or three times a week. Rub gently on the skin and then wash off with water.
