Watching live parade with colourful tableaux of every state, march past by different regiments of Indian Army, Navy and Air Force and breath-taking performances by students and soldiers. The whole atmosphere is soaked in patriotism on Republic Day. When all the eyes are glued on to television and people enjoy breakfast on bed on this day, we ask the youth what evokes the feeling of patriotism in them.

Last year when I visited Amritsar with my family we went to watch the Wagah Border. The experience was incredible as I saw the border between India and Pakistan and also the soldiers and citizens of both the sides. At that moment I felt proud to be an Indian.

The feeling of patriotism comes to me when I see good movies based on our nation. According to me, movies affect and conquer the mind of an audience more than anything else. Good movies like Rang De Basanti or Lagaan in today's time are quite refreshing and express the views of a free democratic nation. I feel more such movies must be directed and brought before the audience to evoke the feeling of patriotism.
