| Haphazard parking narrows Janakpuri’s wide roads |
Janakpuri is known for its wide roads. Despite that chaos reigns on these very roads because of haphazard parking. Since colony roads are being used as personal property by residents chaotic parking has become the norm here. Particularly affected are A, B, C and C1A blocks. Here cars and bikes are always seen parked in the middle of roads and especially in front of commercial establishments.
Though authorities are well aware of the nuisance, they are not ready to take any action. ...... |

| Drinking in public is not banned in District Centre! |
Although drinking liquor in public has been banned but at Janakpuri District Centre it is not so. Visitors to the district centre and area residents complain of facing a tough time with liquor shops located here encouraging consumption in the open.
