| Good Samaritans to the rescue of poor stray dogs |
Some of the residents of Rajinder Nagar have come together to protect the stray dogs in their area and they would want to make people aware of this through Cityplus. "Stray dogs are not to be killed, but are to be taken care of. We cannot blame the civic authorities for everything; we have a social responsibility too," said Rajni Minocha, a member of the group that has taken an initiative in this direction.

| And now, bus stops encroached upon by cars, trucks & bicycles |
Gone are those days when buses used to stop at the designated stops. Not that there are no bus stops, but they are "encroached" upon by cars belonging to shopkeepers and private citizens who find it difficult to park their vehicles anywhere else. One could see almost all bus stops in old Rajinder Nagar being taken over by them.
