Maestripalya Lake: Residents draw up plan for its revival

A group of Koramangala resident volunteers from all Koramangala blocks gathered at Embassy Tranquil Apartment hall last Sunday to work out an action plan for the restoration of the Maestripalya Lake bed area. This dried up lake, one of the 36 that formed a contiguous lake stream in Bangalore till about 50 years ago, was a fishing spot even in the seventies.
