| Much-awaited garden in Sector 19 opening soon |
Dainik Jagran Cityplus in its earlier issues dated May 1 and May 22 carried reports saying 'Jungle cleared to develop garden and it is not built in six years' and 'Snakes displaced for developing garden are yet to get its habitat' respectively. The reports clearly stated that residents are miffed over not only seeing development work of the garden going on at a slow pace but also in a haphazard manner.

| Trees to be planted on all vacant plots: Ganesh Naik |
Repeated caution notices and warnings given by authorities not to dump garbage and other waste or building materials in vacant plots near residential areas have gone unheeded. Various construction materials, durable and non-durable goods can be seen littered on vacant plots in Vashi, Nerul and Belapur localities.
Some of the plots are reserved and some are yet to be taken in possession by NMMC. Till then such plots remain major headaches for area residents.
