| Demand to extend Metro rail line from Vaishali to CISF |
Even as the city administration is trying hard to speed up the Metro project, commuters are demanding the extension of Metro Rail from Vaishali to CISF. A nine-km long stretch was proposed recently for this route at a cost of Rs. 900 crore. Most people are of the view that extension of the Metro line from Vaishali to CISF Cut will ease traffic problem at trans-Hindon.
If this route is opened, people would be able to travel easily from trans-Hindon to Delhi or even to Noida," they say. ...... |

| GNN, GDA least concerned about garbage dumped at park entrance |
It is sad to see the pathetic condition of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Park, situated at Rajendra Nagar, Ghaziabad. The garbage dumped at the entrance gate is stinking, which is badly affecting the nearby colonies. People of this area have lost their faith in the administrative machinery since no action has been taken so far despite repeated complaints to GNN and GDA.
Once again they are preparing to stage a protest against these agencies though they had shown their complaints about this ...... |
