| UP administration directed to clear traffic mess |
The Tourism Directorate has issued orders to the UP administration to streamline the unruly traffic of the city before the Commonwealth Games. The administration has been directed to chalk out plans to remove traffic chaos in the city.
One can see the bad roads, unruly traffic, errant auto and tempos and illegal parking rampant in the city, which put a question mark on administrative authorities' claims that they have cleared the traffic mess.

| Signboards in Hindi need to be changed |
A large number of foreigners are expected to visit the city during the Commonwealth Games and they would definitely need sign boards for directions. But the sign boards in the city are still in Hindi which might cause inconvenience to the visitors.
Since the visitors would not be familiar with our national language, the boards should be bilingual or be in English.
GNN has so far not formulated any specific plan in this regard while the makeover of the sign boards are going on in full ...... |
