Ryan celebrates Environment Week
Ryan International School celebrated the Environment Week from July 12 to 16 in the school premises. The children brought saplings of herbal plants and were taken to the school garden to plant them. The students also did a 'Best out of waste' and 'Collage making' with plant products. Middle school students made paper bags to emphasize the need of using biodegraded material in daily life. All the bags will be used by the students for their purchases and it will make the parents aware of the problem of environment degradation. The event was a success as it was fun while learning for the students.
'Kids Fiesta 2010' at GEMS
Kids Fiesta 2010', a fun event for kids was organised by GEMS International School recently at its Palam Vihar campus.
The major attraction of this fiesta included 'Story telling by the evening' to encourage children to read and love books. For the sports lovers, 'Water sport game' was the fun junction. Other activities included caricature, egg-in-baskets, tug-of-stars, guard & queen, feed-the-clown, ball bombardment, etc. The school campus was packed to capacity and parents and children left the venue on a cheerful note.
