Haryana Tourism renovates hotel rooms for CWG

In the wake of the Commonwealth Games, the Haryana Tourism is renovating all the hotels in areas where tourists are expected to stay. Rajesh Joon, manager of Haryana Tourism said, "It is expected that the work will finish by the end of September." "During the Games, tourists will stay in the hotels and to give them all the facilities, all the rooms in the hotels are being modified. All old air conditioners will be replaced by split ACs and televisions will be replaced by LCDs. Small refrigerators will also be kept in the hotel rooms. Apart from this, in the Sunbird Motel at Surajkund, 12 new rooms are being constructed," he said. SP Jain, manager of Rajhans Hotel, said, "In our hotel, almost all the work of renovation and decoration has been completed. Being a five-star hotel, we will offer continental, Chinese and Italian food to the tourists. In the Indian dishes we will offer them Punjabi, Rajasthani, Gujarati and north Indian food." Private hotels have also fastened their belts and renovation work is going on to give the rooms a new and a modern look. |
