Mahila Shakti Samajik Samiti celebrates third anniversary
The Mahila Shakti Samajik Samiti celebrated its third anniversary on July 25 at the Community Centre of Beta II. Around 300 women were present and they enjoyed the day with devotion, music, team work and fun.
A havan was held with the participation of most of the members of the Samiti as well as citizens from the area. President Roopa Gupta was busy looking after the overall arrangement while Arti Sharma welcomed the guests.
The rituals were followed by the welcome of guests including Swami Sushil Maharaj, Krishna Kant and Gajanan Mali. Speaking on the occasion Swami Sushil appreciated the efforts of the Samiti.
The Samiti awarded prizes to Pratap and Lov Kush Sharma for their getting highest position in the district in class 12th and 10th respectively. Durvesh, one of the security guards from Alfa-I was also honoured on the occasion for his extraordinary effort in combating with the burglars a few days back.
Drawing competitions, poetry recitation by kids, quizzes, antakshari competition were all a part of the celebrations. Roopa Gupta said that it is the team who is the power behind the results.
