The International Inner Wheel Club, closely linked to Rotary Club and the second largest women's voluntary service organisation in the world, was established in 1924 primarily for the wives and daughters of Rotarians, as Rotary did not permit women as members.  Despite women now being able to join Rotary, there are Inner Wheel clubs in many countries and Inner Wheel Club of Bangalore Koramangala has been serving the community for about a decade.
