Lecture on career in armed forces held
A lecture on 'Career in the Indian Armed Forces-Pros and Cons in the context of National Security' was organised by Apex Careers at Mahatma Phule Museum Campus on Ghole road.
The lecture was delivered by K Unnikrishnan, father of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who laid down his life fighting terrorism at the Mumbai terror attacks. Dhanlaxmi Unnikrishnan along with director-Apex Careers Lt Col (Retd) Pradeep Brahmankar and his wife Yogini were also present at the event.
Unnikrishnan said "Serving armed forces is a matter of pride. You need to have inbuilt patriotism. We can't provide training or lectures for patriotism. Army teaches to have disciplined and responsible life."
Puneites gave an overwhelming response to the lecture. The event was well compared by Sonica Rana and Akshay Kulkarni. Prof Hrishikesh Apte gave vote of thanks. |
