DAV Sreshtha Vihar celebrates 22nd prize distribution day DAV Public School, Sreshtha Vihar, celebrated its 22nd prize distribution and annual function on July 16 and 17. The lamp lighting marked the inauguration of the two-day event which included colourful and energetic performances of the students from the primary to the senior secondary level. The audience was spellbound by events like the Qawali, Kathak dance performance, Dandia, orchestra, Bengali and Bhojpuri Dance, and a street play. Padam Bhushan Uma Sharma, acclaimed Kathak Dancer and Vishwanath, vice president, DAV College Managing Committee were the guests of the first day. Naseeb Singh, MLA and Nisha Peshin, Directoir (PS), DAV College Managing Committee were the guests on the second day. The children who excelled in academics and co-curricular activities were appreciated and were awarded. Head boy Anurag Garg and head girl Sakshi were presented blazers. Vishwanath shared his own experience inspiring them to achieve greater heights. Naseeb Singh and Nisha Peshin also blessed the children for their brilliant performance in academics and other co-curricular activities. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the manager of the school SC Gupta.
Children's Valley performs on Chaturmas On the occasion of Varshayog Mangal Kalash Sthapna function on July 24, the students of Children's Valley School, Preet Vihar, gave homage to Guru Guptisagar Maharaj. A part of this homage was to enact the believes of Jainism, talk about the environment, voice their thoughts against terrorism and more. Pradeep Jain, founder of Children's Valley School said, "This year, Chaturmas, (four holy Hindu months) began on July 21 and will end on November 17. I am delighted that the students of our school did this performance. There couldn't have been a better beginning to the day."
CM invited for temple’s inauguration Shri Sankatahara Ganapathy, Vasundhara Enclave temple will be opened for public on August 29. In order to make it more special, temple's president RK Vasan along with temple's public relations officer S Venkatesh met and invited Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit for the inauguration of the temple during Maha Kumbabhishekam. |
